Data Collection Associate

Job Description

The Data Collection Associate supports highly regulated audit activities by collecting samples, performing manual audits, and accurately documenting findings. This part-time role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in sample collection, data entry, and compliance-related documentation within a structured office-based environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliable documentation practices, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sample collection in accordance with established protocols for highly regulated audits.
  • Perform manual audits to verify compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
  • Record and document audit findings accurately and promptly using established formats and tools.
  • Complete accurate documentation, including filing, data entry, and preparation of reports.
  • Review data and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
  • Support reagent preparation and related tasks as needed for sample collection activities.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Safety and Occupational Health team to support various initiatives and projects.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, hygiene, and documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of audit and sample collection activities.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfort with data entry, documentation, and technical writing for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to accurately collect samples and follow detailed procedures.
  • Reliability in following safety and hygiene protocols.

Work Environment

This is an office-based role that supports highly regulated audit and sample collection activities. The position follows a part-time schedule with 4-hour shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., using a 2-2-3-2 rotating pattern, averaging approximately 12-16 hours per week. You will work in a structured environment that emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and hygiene procedures. The role involves regular use of computers and standard office software for data entry, documentation, and report preparation, as well as handling samples and related materials in accordance with defined protocols.

This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
