Join us to be part of a dynamic and impactful global company!Job Description: Data Collection Specialist - Client is seeking a highly motivated data collection specialist to join our robotics team. The ideal candidate will have basic familiarity with electrical equipment and safety, operating machines, working with computers including command lines, and an understanding of how data is stored in large files. This position requires the ability to work with teleoperating (remote controlling) robots, inspecting video footage and taking corrective actions in order to collect good quality data. It also requires working with minimal direction, the capacity to work quickly and be flexible while delivering high-quality results. Having an eye for process improvement is critical as we will look to the data collection specialists for input on how to evolve our collection processes.Primary responsibilities:Manage data collection processes including securing testing materials, handling logistics, and providing daily report outsOwn defined projects focused on improving parts of the data collection processesWork closely with engineering and research groups to improve usability and data collection speedBasic Qualifications:Associates degree required in a relevant field0-2 years of relevant work experienceA high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential informationAbility to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the companyExcellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skillsWillingness to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done, support several projects at one time, and to accept reprioritization as necessaryAbility to deliver high-quality work within tight timelinesAbility to follow through, work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectivelyA good sense of humor, a positive attitude and great team work skills are a mustPreferred Qualifications:Experience with robotics or physical device data collection and processingEnd-to-end, hands-on experience with all aspects of data collections (storage, analysis, reporting)V2Soft is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
