POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are building a Data Collector community to support our Research & Evaluation (R&E) team and contribute to meaningful social science projects. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with an interest or background in social science research who enjoy engaging with diverse groups of people, asking thoughtful questions, and ensuring accuracy in data collection.
In this role, you'll go beyond simply gathering numbers-you'll capture stories, experiences, and insights from a wide range of audiences, including K-12 students, educators, families, community groups, and guests visiting Shedd. Through surveys, interviews, and observations, you will help transform everyday interactions into meaningful data that informs research, programs, and decision-making.

TIME COMMITMENT: This is a project-based, as-needed role supporting the R&E team, offering up to 29 hours of work per week.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in statistics, social sciences, early/K-12 education, or related field preferred.
