 Digital Research Technology About the Role Join our Digital IT team supporting the Research business as a Research Data Delivery Manager, responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of strategic data, analytics, and AI initiatives across the Research platform. In this high-impact role, you will coordinate the planning, delivery, governance, and operationalization of technology capabilities that support Research analysts across all asset classes. This position is focused on driving execution at scale. You will be responsible for mobilizing cross-functional teams, managing integrated delivery plans, coordinating dependencies, tracking milestones, and ensuring successful delivery of complex technology programs. You will act as the central point of coordination across business, technology, operations, data, and control functions, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with strong stakeholder alignment. The successful candidate will bring strong program and delivery management expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and experience navigating complex organizations to drive outcomes. You will play a critical role in establishing governance frameworks, managing risks and issues, overseeing change management activities, and coordinating the transition of new capabilities into sustainable business-as-usual support models. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Program Delivery • Own and manage the delivery lifecycle for strategic data, analytics, and AI initiatives from planning through implementation and post-production support. • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones, execution roadmaps, and critical path dependencies across multiple workstreams. • Drive program execution to ensure objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities. • Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions, escalating where necessary to maintain momentum and manage delivery outcomes. • Coordinate release planning, implementation activities, operational readiness reviews, and production deployments. Cross-Functional Coordination Restricted - External • Coordinate activities across Research, Technology, Data Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholder groups. • Facilitate alignment across teams to ensure deliverables, dependencies, timelines, and ownership are clearly defined and managed. • Organize and lead working groups, steering committees, governance forums, and project meetings. • Remove blockers and drive resolution of complex cross-organizational challenges. Stakeholder Management & Communication • Act as the primary coordination point between business and technology stakeholders. • Develop and deliver executive communications, status reports, steering committee updates, and management presentations. • Ensure transparency around program health, progress, risks, dependencies, and decision points. • Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across senior leadership and delivery teams. Governance, Risk & Controls • Coordinate governance activities required to deliver data, analytics, and AI solutions within established organizational standards. • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Control functions to ensure appropriate reviews, approvals, and documentation are completed. • Maintain oversight of risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and mitigation plans. • Ensure auditability, traceability, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Drive control implementation and operational governance processes throughout the delivery lifecycle. Delivery Planning & Dependency Management • Build and maintain comprehensive project plans spanning multiple teams and initiatives. Restricted - External • Coordinate resource planning and capacity discussions with delivery teams and leadership. • Identify interdependencies across programs and proactively manage impacts to timelines and deliverables. • Establish reporting mechanisms, KPIs, and delivery metrics to monitor execution health and progress. • Ensure critical dependencies across technology, data, infrastructure, and business teams are effectively managed. Operational Readiness & BAU Transition • Coordinate operational readiness activities to support successful production deployment. • Partner with support, operations, platform, and engineering teams to define target operating models and ownership structures. • Lead planning for production support, monitoring, service management, incident management, and ongoing maintenance processes. • Ensure appropriate documentation, runbooks, support procedures, SLAs, and training materials are established prior to production rollout. • Coordinate the transition of new capabilities into sustainable business-as-usual support and operating models. Change Management & Adoption • Support organizational readiness and adoption planning for new capabilities. • Coordinate communications, training activities, and stakeholder engagement plans. • Gather feedback from users, support teams, and operational stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure effective handoff and knowledge transfer across delivery and support organizations. Required Qualifications Delivery Management Experience • 7+ years of experience leading complex technology, data, or transformation programs in large organizations. Restricted - External • Proven track record managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups and workstreams. • Experience delivering enterprise-scale technology programs across business, operations, and engineering teams. Program & Project Management • Strong program management, planning, organization, and execution skills. • Experience managing integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, and resource plans. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies. Stakeholder Management • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to influence and coordinate across senior business, technology, operations, and control stakeholders. • Experience preparing executive-level communications and governance materials. • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive decisions and achieve consensus. Governance & Controls • Experience operating within regulated environments and coordinating governance, risk, compliance, and control processes. • Ability to manage audits, approvals, operational readiness reviews, and documentation requirements. • Strong understanding of program governance, risk management, and control frameworks. Data Platform & Technology Knowledge • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and software delivery processes. • Familiarity with data engineering concepts, cloud-based data architectures, APIs, data integration patterns, and enterprise technology platforms. Restricted - External • Ability to effectively partner with Architecture, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams. • Working knowledge of AI, analytics, and modern data platform technologies. Preferred Qualifications Financial Services Experience • Experience in a financial services environment, particularly supporting investment research, capital markets, trading, or enterprise data platforms. • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and control requirements associated with technology and data delivery in a financial institution. Enterprise Data Platforms & Data Engineering • Experience working with modern enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems. • Familiarity with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, cloud data lakes, data warehouses, metadata and catalog platforms, data governance tools, and enterprise reporting environments. • Understanding of data engineering principles including ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, data quality controls, lineage, and metadata management. • Experience coordinating initiatives involving large-scale data migrations, platform modernization efforts, or cloud transformation programs. Data & AI Delivery Experience Restricted - External • Experience delivering data, analytics, AI, or machine learning initiatives and coordinating across Data Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams. • Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms, governance requirements, and operational support models. Technical Background • Exposure to software engineering, data engineering, architecture, or cloud technologies. • Ability to engage in discussions regarding architectural trade-offs, platform design, integration strategies, scalability, resilience, and operational support considerations. • Understanding of modern software delivery, DevOps practices, release management, and production support processes. Operational Excellence • Experience establishing target operating models, support structures, service management processes, and production support frameworks. • Knowledge of incident management, change management, problem management, and operational governance best practices.
