    Data Design Specialist (Eximbills Enterprise – EE)

    Location: Jersey City, NJ
    Duration: 12-Month Contract (Performance-Based Full-Time Hire Opportunity)


    Role Overview

    The Data Design Specialist will support the enhancement and modernization of Trade Finance and Loan reporting processes by collecting, validating, and analyzing transactional and business data. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate functional requirements into detailed IT specifications, supporting solution design, documentation, testing, and system improvements.

    Hands-on experience with Eximbills Enterprise (EE) is mandatory.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Support and lead enhancements to Trade Finance and Loan reporting processes.

    • Collect, validate, and analyze business and transactional data to ensure reporting accuracy, integrity, and completeness.

    • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and clarify functional requirements.

    • Translate business needs into system and data design specifications in collaboration with IT and Head Office teams.

    • Prepare and maintain requirement documents, functional specifications, and technical design documentation.

    • Develop and execute test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate reporting outputs.

    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Eximbills Enterprise (EE) during implementation, upgrades, and ongoing support.

    • Identify process gaps and system improvement opportunities, proposing scalable and practical solutions.


    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • 10+ years of experience in Trade Finance business operations with technology solution support.

    • Mandatory hands-on expertise with Eximbills Enterprise (EE), including:

      • Package structure

      • Core functionalities

      • Data flows

      • Reporting capabilities

    • Proven experience supporting EE implementation, enhancement, or upgrade initiatives.

    • Strong understanding of Trade Finance products and workflows (LCs, guarantees, loans, and related reporting).

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

    • Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing required).

    • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
