Data Engineer - Charlotte, NC - Full Time - $32-42 per HR
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Engineer. This full-time, onsite position is based in Charlotte, NC. The role involves developing and managing a hybrid data platform, integrating on-premises systems with cloud solutions, and ensuring seamless data operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms and data management technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage the on-premises data cluster environment, including account creation and permission structures.
- Design and implement table structures optimized for hybrid workloads.
- Integrate metadata catalog solutions to unify on-prem and cloud environments.
- Establish and validate cloud environments as production tenants on existing clusters.
- Define and enforce data access governance and security policies across environments.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in data platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
- Experience with on-premises big data clusters.
- Experience with metadata catalog integration.
- Proficiency in service account management and access control in hybrid environments.
