Description
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to build and maintain robust, fault-tolerant data pipelines and support data management and integration solutions. This role involves working with various data technologies and ensuring high performance and reliability of enterprise data systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Hadoop-based technologies including MapReduce, Spark, Hive, Presto, and Pig
Proficiency in SQL-based technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
Strong programming skills in Python or an equivalent high-level language
Understanding of NoSQL technologies like Cassandra and MongoDB
Experience in building distributed and cloud-based data pipelines
Understanding of data warehousing solutions
Strong customer service skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Understanding of industry-standard software APIs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Build and maintain data pipelines that collect, assemble, and transform data
Design and implement scalable, reliable distributed data processing frameworks
Implement data management, storage, backup, and recovery solutions
Monitor data systems for performance and implement solutions to identified problems
Lead the creation of standards and best practices for new technology solutions
Ensure environments are compliant with standards and operational procedures
