Data Engineer II
Boston, MA – AI and Data Innovation – Full time – R29957
What you'll do:
Design analytic solutions for business users that provide the data needed to operate the business.
Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for analytics platform.
Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
Participate in technical decisions and collaborate with talented peers.
Review code, implementations and give meaningful feedback that helps others build better solutions.
Write documentation on design, architecture and solutions.
What you’ll need:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field and 5 years of experience required as a Data Warehousing Specialist or a related position/occupation.
Alternate Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field and 3 years of experience required as a Data Warehousing Specialist or a related position/occupation.
Full term of experience must include:
Snowflake;
Python;
Airflow;
AWS Services (SQS, SNS, S3, EC2, Glue, Glue catalog);
Distributed processing;
CI/CD; and
Data Modeling.

The base salary range for this role is $149,844 to $180,500 per year
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
