Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Engineer (Irving, TX) to join their team. As a Data Engineer (Irving, TX), you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting innovative data solutions. What's the Job?

  • Design and develop ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for reporting and downstream applications using open-source frameworks and cloud technologies.
  • Implement operational and analytical data stores leveraging Delta Lake and modern database concepts.
  • Optimize data structures for performance and scalability across large datasets.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure alignment with target-state architecture.
What's Needed?
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
  • Experience in designing and developing data pipelines and workflows.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines using open-source frameworks and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Delta Lake and modern database concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues in data pipelines and ensure high availability and reliability.
