Data Engineer - Jersey City, NJ - Contract W2/C2C - $74.59-84.59 Per HR
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team remotely. This contract position involves building systems to gather, store, and process large volumes of data for analysis. Key responsibilities include developing ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data storage solutions. Proficiency in programming and cloud data tools is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data processing.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of data through rigorous testing.
- Optimize and manage data storage solutions for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Lead technical projects and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in backend development.
- Proven experience with cloud services and big data processing.
- Strong understanding of data storage and database management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
