Key job responsibilities

This is an impactful role within Prime Video (PV) Commerce Analytics, supporting major PV investments in 2026. As a Data Engineer, you will work in one of the world"s largest and most complex data warehouse environments, designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure solutions that integrate multiple heterogeneous data sources.

You will leverage AWS big data technologies including Redshift, EMR/Spark, Andes Data Lake, and native AWS services to build and maintain data pipelines that ingest data from Video Commerce, Digital Commerce, Prime, and Device Platform teams. Your curated datasets will serve 50+ downstream teams for reporting, analysis, machine learning models, and ad-hoc requests.

You will build high-performing, scalable data products that directly enable data-driven decision making across Prime Video.

  • Design complex data pipelines and models powering subscription, transaction, and device registration datasets
  • Deliver scalable data solutions on native AWS infrastructure
  • Develop data quality validation frameworks and monitoring solutions ensuring data integrity and timeliness
  • Build and optimize batch and near real-time processing workflows using Spark, Redshift, and Andes
  • Create robust orchestration and monitoring for workflows with complex dependencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new data sources

About the team

The team is primarily based in Seattle with additional presence in New York and London. A data-driven organization focused on Prime Video"s growth and commerce analytics, with strong representation in business intelligence, data engineering, and product management functions supporting Prime Video"s commercial and analytical needs.
