Overview
The Scale & Partner AI Experiences organization is transforming how Microsoft partners engage, transact, and grow through AI-first platforms and secure partner experiences. Our team builds the foundational services that power Partner Center, Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), partner onboarding, program enrollment, identity, authorization, and security experiences across Microsofts global partner ecosystem.
We are looking for a Data Engineer who is about building highly scalable cloud services, secure platforms, and modern partner onboarding experiences. You will work on critical platform capabilities including account enrollment, authorization, partner identity, security compliance, AI-enabled experiences, and shared services used across Partner Center and the broader Microsoft partner ecosystem.
This role offers an opportunity to work on systems that support millions of partner and customer interactions while directly contributing to Microsofts AI-first transformation.

Required/minimum qualifications
Masters Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Data Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
