Position: Data Engineer
- Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills:

- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and rationalize analytics demand by collaborating with business stakeholders to assess analytics and reporting requirements.
- Perform feasibility analysis, define KPIs, and recommend optimal analytics solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise data strategy.
- Design end-to-end data and analytics architectures across:
- SAP Datasphere
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Palantir
- Power BI
- Snowflake
- Other enterprise data and analytics platforms
- Ensure seamless integration, scalability, performance, and governance across analytics platforms.
- Define analytics platform strategy and establish decision frameworks for selecting appropriate tools based on:
- Business use cases
- Data complexity
- Governance requirements
- Total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Evaluate and recommend analytics platforms such as SAC, Power BI, embedded analytics, and self-service analytics.
- Drive data governance and data product enablement across the organization.
- Define and implement:
- Data models
- Business glossary
- Metadata management
- Data lineage
- Security standards
- Data governance standards
- Enable reusable data products and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Provide architectural oversight for data and analytics initiatives.
- Conduct solution reviews, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and architecture assessments.
- Guide development teams in implementing scalable data and analytics solutions.
- Develop and drive technology roadmaps for modernization from legacy reporting platforms to SAP Datasphere, SAP SAC, and Power BI ecosystems.

- Stakeholder Management & Business Consulting:
- Engage with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and analytics needs.
- Facilitate analytics demand discussions and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into actionable data and analytics roadmaps.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across data engineering, BI, reporting, and business functions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment, decision-making, and successful solution delivery.
- Coordinate with technical and business teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Strategic Planning & Governance:
- Establish and maintain analytics governance frameworks.
- Prioritize analytics and data initiatives based on business value.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Drive continuous improvement to maximize business value from analytics investments.
