We are looking for a Data Engineer who is proficient and experienced across the full dataflow lifecycle from requirements gathering through pipeline development and semantic layer delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure components.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable SQL database solutions.
- Advise on and support the creation of the semantic layer.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into data models.
- Develop documentation and ensure smooth knowledge transfer for all solutions built.
- Ensure best practices regarding process quality, observability, and scalability.
What You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency with Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory and SQL Server.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and advanced table/trigger design for data integrity.
- Demonstrated experience integrating with various data‑serving APIs and transforming data into multiple formats.
- Excellent understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control tools.
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work through ambiguity.
