Data Engineer Sr:
- Responsible for design, development, testing, and support for data pipelines to enable continuous data processing for data exploration, data preparation and real-time business analytics.
- Provide operational intelligence across multiple business lines.
- Build data integrations and automation to pull information from a variety of data sources.
- Build and support non-interactive (batch, distributed) & real-time, highly available data, data pipeline and technology capabilities.
- Translate strategic requirements into business requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Develop scripts to automate deployment of physical and virtual environments; develop tools to monitor usage of virtual resources.
- Define & implement data retention policies and procedures.
- Define & implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Identify improvements in team coding standards and help in implementation of the improvements.
- Leverage subject matter expertise to coordinate issue resolution efforts across peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems and projects.
- Perform systems and applications performance characterization and trade-off studies through analysis and simulation.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues.
- Provide on-call coverage 24X7, to support off-hours work and technical support as required, including weekends and holidays.
Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the U.S.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $178,602 - $209,300 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in building solutions on SQL Platform.
Must have 5 years of experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
Must have 1 year of experience in implementing data platforms on Azure.
Must have 1 year of experience in developing CI/CD.
