Accounting Clerk / Data Entry

Select Staffing is recruiting for a premier customer in Salinas seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Data Entry Associate. This position supports accounting, billing, and transportation documentation in a fast-paced office environment.

Schedule: Flexible, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Training: Start at approximately 6 hours per day, with potential to move to 8-hour shifts

Pay: Low to Mid $20s/hour, DOE

Responsibilities

• Enter billing, invoicing, and accounting data into QuickBooks
• Review records and documents for accuracy
• Maintain organized files and accounting records
• Provide general administrative and clerical support
• Assist with DOT and motor carrier qualification documentation
• Review and update carrier information in Highway and QuickBooks
• Verify MC, insurance, and carrier records
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, billing, data entry, or office administration
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Trucking, transportation, DOT, MC, or insurance documentation experience is helpful but not required
• English required; bilingual Spanish preferred
