Our client, a leading organization in the administrative support sector, is seeking a dedicated Data Entry Clerk I to join their team. As a Data Entry Clerk I, you will be an essential part of the administrative support department, assisting various teams with data management tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining data accuracy, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Pay Range: $18.5

What's the Job?

• Enter, update, and verify data in various databases and systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review data for errors or discrepancies and correct inconsistencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure the integrity of data stored in company systems.
• Organize and manage electronic and paper-based files efficiently.
• Generate reports and retrieve data upon request to support organizational needs.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role.
• Strong typing skills, including proficiency with 10-key input.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
