Data Entry- AP department
We’re looking for an organized and detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys collaborating with others, and can confidently manage tasks independently.
What You’ll Do
+ Process vendor invoices, secure proper approvals, and ensure alignment with company policies and accounting standards
+ Manage a portion of the AP inbox and oversee assigned vendor accounts
+ Verify, classify, post, and record daily accounts payable transactions
+ Maintain strong vendor relationships, resolving inquiries and ensuring accurate coding and posting
+ Assist with weekly check runs, including printing, mailing, and reconciliation
+ Support month‑end close by analyzing A/P aging reports and reconciling vendor statements
+ Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency
+ Handle financial information with integrity and discretion
+ Collaborate with accounting and finance team members as needed
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Accounts Payable function
+ 2+ years of hands-on AP experience
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for vendor and internal coordination
+ Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
+ Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes
+ Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
+ Apparel industry experience (preferred)
+ Experience with Microsoft D365

This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
