Carson, CA | On-Site
$25.00–$28.00 Per Hour (DOE)
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk for an opportunity with a logistics and distribution operation in Carson, CA.
This position will focus on accurately entering customer sales orders into SAGE, verifying order information, and supporting daily order processing and invoicing. The ideal candidate has previous data entry or order-entry experience, strong math skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities
The Daily Flow
- Enter customer sales orders into SAGE from purchase orders, emails, web orders, and EDI files
- Verify SKUs, quantities, pricing, discounts, and delivery information for accuracy
- Review and verify customer shipping and billing addresses
- Submit daily invoices through SAGE
- Maintain accurate order status information, including backorders and special instructions
- Monitor order exceptions and assist with resolving discrepancies
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales, Warehouse/Logistics, and Finance as needed
- Generate basic order and exception reports

Qualifications
Key Points
- 1+ year of order-entry, data-entry, or clerical experience
- SAGE or other ERP system experience strongly preferred
- Strong math skills required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent
