Job Summary
The Payroll Processing Associate will work with UPS systems to process payroll-related tasks, including manual check requests. The role involves communicating with both internal and external contacts to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
This position may require working on weekends and holidays, and work hours may change depending on business needs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Process payroll activities.
Handle manual check requests and other payroll adjustments.
Use internal web-based applications and platforms for payroll processing.
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data while working in a team environment.
Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders regarding payroll issues.
Analyze statements and payroll-related information provided by management employees.
Perform data entry and calculations using 10-key calculator and keyboard efficiently with minimal typing errors.
Work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
Support both non-union and union wage plans (training will be provided).
Be available for scheduled overtime and variable work hours based on business requirements.

Basic proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Access (primarily for data entry).
Payroll experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including outside scheduled shifts when needed.
