Data Entry Clerk
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76111 (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to support daily data management and record maintenance activities. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transferring information from emails, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and other business systems into internal company platforms while ensuring data integrity and timely completion of assignments.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update information from emails, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and other sources into internal company systems.
- Review data for completeness and accuracy before entering or updating records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across company platforms.
- Generate reports to communicate data updates, project status, and progress as requested.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure information remains accurate and consistent.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to obtain missing or updated information when needed.
- Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality when handling company information.
- Assist with process improvements that enhance data quality and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related office environment preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with excellent speed and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting established deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Adaptable to changing priorities, systems, and business processes.
- Process improvement or project management experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SharePoint or similar document management systems.
- Experience utilizing internal databases or enterprise software for data management.
- Familiarity with generating reports and tracking project progress.
