Data Entry Clerk (Banking)

Location: Glendale, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20-23/hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview

A reputable banking organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk with an accounting background to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, organized, and comfortable working with financial data in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial and banking information
• Review documents for completeness and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Support accounting functions including reconciling records and verifying transactions
• Maintain and update customer and account information in internal systems
• Assist with processing and tracking financial documents and reports
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Communicate with internal teams regarding discrepancies or missing data

• 1-3 years of data entry experience, preferably in banking or finance
• Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge (AP/AR, reconciliations, etc.)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
