Job Title: Transaction Processor Associate II
Location: East Hartford, CT 06108
Pay Rate: $20.69/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Processor Associate II to join our team in a high-volume administrative environment. This hybrid role focuses on transaction processing, data entry, and light customer support within financial assistance programs (e.g., SNAP).
Key Responsibilities
Process and submit denial letters and eligibility documents with accuracy and compliance.
Perform data entry and screen consumer information across multiple systems.
Maintain high productivity, accuracy, and quality (QAP) standards.
Research, analyze, and update consumer records as needed.
Communicate with clients via written and verbal channels.
Support the call center team with inbound inquiries during peak times.
Document all interactions and updates accurately.
Meet contract deadlines and adhere to attendance/compliance policies.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Meet at least two of the following:
Associate's degree or higher
6+ months of call center or customer-facing experience
Experience processing eligibility or transactional data
Typing speed of 40+ WPM
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with public assistance programs (SNAP, Medicaid, etc.).
Background in high-volume processing or back-office operations.
Customer service experience handling sensitive situations.
Work Environment & Additional Details
Hybrid/onsite model in East Hartford, CT.
40-hour workweek with weekly time reporting.
Background check and drug screening required.
