Data Entry Specialist (Dental Insurance Verification)

Denton, TX | Dentalogic

Dentalogic is a dental revenue cycle management company based in Denton, Texas. We handle insurance verification, billing, and PPO optimization for dental practices across the country, and we're looking to add a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to our verification team.

This role is straightforward but important. You'll be pulling insurance plan information from carrier portals and entering it accurately into practice management software so that dental offices and their patients have what they need before treatment happens. You'll also communicate directly with our clients, answering questions and flagging issues through phone, email, and our shared dashboard. It's a position where accuracy matters more than speed, and where the work you do has a real downstream effect on whether patients get billed correctly.

What the job involves

  • Entering and updating dental insurance plan details in practice management software
  • Retrieving coverage information from insurance portals and translating it into clear, usable formats for dental practices
  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and dashboard to provide support and resolve questions
  • Handling a range of verification-related tasks as needs arise

What we're looking for

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You should be comfortable with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, and able to pick up new software without much hand-holding. Strong written and verbal communication in English is important since you'll be interacting with clients regularly. This work involves protected health information, so an understanding of HIPAA and a commitment to confidentiality aren't optional.

Prior dental or insurance experience isn't required. If you're organized, accurate, and take the work seriously, there's a real opportunity to grow here.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $16.00 to $16.50 per hour to start
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Casual dress code
  • Clear path to advance into our billing department for candidates who want to grow into full-cycle dental RCM work
