Position Summary

The Data Entry Specialist will support PulseMediaNL by ensuring that business information is accurately entered, updated, organized, and maintained.

The successful candidate will work with spreadsheets, databases, digital documents, forms, emails, and other information sources. Responsibilities will include entering new information, updating existing records, checking data for errors, organizing electronic files, assisting with data-quality checks, and completing routine administrative assignments.

No extensive prior professional experience is required for this entry-level opportunity. Training may be provided on company-specific systems, procedures, and workflows.

Because this is a remote position, candidates must be comfortable working independently, managing assigned tasks, communicating digitally with team members, and maintaining productivity without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry

  • Accurately enter information into company databases, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and other approved platforms.

  • Transfer information from digital documents, forms, emails, reports, and other source materials into designated systems.

  • Create new records and update existing records.

  • Enter names, contact information, dates, reference numbers, numerical data, and other business information.

  • Follow established data-entry procedures and formatting standards.

  • Complete assigned data-entry tasks within required timeframes.

  • Review entries before submission to minimize errors.

  • Maintain accurate records of completed assignments.

  • Ask for clarification when information is missing or unclear.

  • Handle repetitive data-entry tasks while maintaining consistent accuracy.

Data Verification & Quality Control

  • Review entered information against source documents.

  • Check records for spelling errors, missing information, duplicate entries, and inconsistencies.

  • Identify discrepancies and follow established procedures for correction.

  • Perform routine data-quality checks.

  • Verify important information before records are finalized.

  • Report unusual or unresolved discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Assist with database-cleanup and information-maintenance projects.

  • Maintain strong standards of data accuracy and integrity.

Document Processing

  • Review documents and forms before entering information.

  • Assist with scanning, indexing, uploading, and archiving documents where applicable.
