We are searching for a Data Entry Specialist to provide onsite support for a Vendor Database consolidation project. The project is anticipated to last between two and three months. This position is temporary and pays $20 to $22 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Review, clean, and consolidate vendor records within a financial services company database to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Identify and eliminate duplicate vendor entries while maintaining data integrity across systems
- Standardize vendor naming conventions, addresses, and key data fields in alignment with company policies
- Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and IT teams to validate and reconcile vendor information
- Perform data audits and quality checks to ensure completeness and reliability of the vendor database
- Update and maintain records within ERP systems and internal databases
- Generate basic reports and summaries to track progress and highlight discrepancies
Requirements
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data validation)
- Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms)
- High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to work onsite and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
