    Description

    Mountain Projects is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases and record management systems. The ideal candidate possesses excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in company databases and internal systems.
    • Review source documents to verify accuracy and completeness before entering information.
    • Identify and correct data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
    • Perform routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of records.
    • Maintain organized electronic and physical records for efficient retrieval.
    • Generate reports and compile information for internal departments as requested.
    • Protect confidential company, employee, and customer information by following established privacy and security procedures.
    • Collaborate with team members to improve data management processes and workflow efficiency.
    • Assist with document processing, filing, and other administrative duties as needed.
    • Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
    • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, records management, or a related role preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Excellent typing speed with a high level of accuracy.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with database management, ERP, CRM, or electronic record systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Familiarity with office procedures and information management practices.
    • Ability to quickly learn new software applications and business systems.
    • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
