Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Temporary Data Entry Specialist for a confidential heritage-focused nonprofit organization. This is a temporary with potential for temp-to-hire opportunity based onsite in Washington, DC.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking detail-oriented Temporary Data Entry Specialists to support a busy membership operations team by processing applications, entering payments, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy organized, high-volume administrative work and take pride in accuracy. Successful temporary employees may have the opportunity to transition into permanent positions based on performance and business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process incoming membership applications with a high degree of accuracy.
Enter payments and application information into internal database systems.
Scan, organize, and maintain digital membership records.
Verify information and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality.
Meet daily productivity and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with team members to support high-volume processing needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience with data entry, administrative support, or records processing preferred.
Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new database systems.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Dependable, collaborative, and able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Temporary assignment with potential for permanent employment.
