Position Summary

The Data Entry Support Specialist plays an important role in ensuring that PulseMediaNL's business information is accurate, complete, organized, and readily available to authorized team members.

The position involves processing information from various sources, updating company records, performing quality checks, organizing electronic documents, preparing basic reports, and supporting administrative and operational teams with data-related tasks.

Because this is a remote position, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong self-management, reliability, communication, and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Processing

  • Accurately enter information into company databases, spreadsheets, CRM systems, online platforms, and other designated applications.

  • Transfer information from approved source documents, forms, emails, reports, and digital files into company systems.

  • Update existing records when new or corrected information becomes available.

  • Process high volumes of information while maintaining strong standards of accuracy and consistency.

  • Follow established data-entry procedures, formatting standards, and naming conventions.

  • Verify information before completing or submitting records.

  • Ensure required fields are completed and properly formatted.

  • Maintain accurate records of completed assignments when required.

Data Verification & Quality Control

  • Review entered information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Compare database entries with original source information.

  • Identify typing errors, duplicate records, missing information, formatting problems, and other discrepancies.

  • Correct errors according to established company procedures.

  • Flag questionable or incomplete information for review rather than making unsupported assumptions.

  • Perform routine quality checks on spreadsheets, databases, and other records.

  • Assist with maintaining consistent data standards across company systems.

  • Report recurring data-quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Database & Records Maintenance

  • Create, update, and maintain electronic records.

  • Ensure records remain current and properly categorized.

  • Assist with database cleanup and routine maintenance activities.

  • Identify outdated, incomplete, or duplicate information.

  • Organize records so that authorized employees can locate information efficiently.

  • Assist with importing or transferring information between approved systems when required.
