Data Entry Technician

This position supports the warehouse in inventory operations. The role involves data entry, inventory checks, and preparation of shipping materials. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into the computer system and review shipping paperwork.
• Prepare pallets for shipping.
• Perform miscellaneous inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Experience:

• Warehouse experience in shipping or inventory control preferred.
• Experience using a hand scanner, tablet, or computer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organizational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer usage with good data entry skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.

Other Information

• This position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent.
• It does not require the worker to be a US Person under ITAR regulations.
• Public Trust Clearance is not required.
• This is not a Service Contract Act position.
• The position is not related to a building move.
• A BI Exception applies to this requisition.
