Volt is immediately hiring for Data Governance Analysts in Spokane, WA



As a Data Governance Analyst you will:
       Guide the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards     Establish data stewardship programs and accountability structures     Develop and monitor data quality metrics and remediation processes     Advise leadership on how to ensure adherence with compliance and regulatory requirements     Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve governance issues and promote adoption     Support technical teams with governance controls, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives     Deliver training and communication programs to drive governance awareness   

This is a full time opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:
       Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field    3-5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles    Have served as data steward or data owner in previous roles    Experience using dashboarding, visualization, and reporting tools    Have implemented or maintained data quality monitoring program for an organization or department    Knowledgeable of cloud platforms and how they are used for modern data platforms (e.g. AWS, Databricks)    Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices    Experience with data cataloging tools (Alation, Atlan, Databricks Unity Catalog)    Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g, CCPA)    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills   


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

       Experience with governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Microsoft Purview, BigID)     Experience in regulated industries (Investor-owned utilities, financial services, healthcare)     Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI/ML governance considerations    Certifications (DAMA CDMP, PMP, Agile/Scrum)     Foundational Cloud platform certifications (e.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals AZ-900)    Prior experience with Power BI Service, MS Fabric, SAP Analytics Cloud  


Pay Rate: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
