Data Governance Snowflake RBAC(Remote)

Role: Data Governance professional responsible for managing the end-to-end stakeholder process for creating and maintaining purpose-based roles in Snowflake, ensuring secure, governed, and least-privilege data access.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather stakeholder requirements and understand data access needs.

• Document business use cases and required data.

• Assess existing Snowflake RBAC roles and determine whether to reuse, modify, or create new roles.

• Design roles based on data governance and least-privilege principles.

• Implement and configure roles in collaboration with relevant teams.

• Perform access testing and validation before deployment.

• Ensure permissions meet business requirements without exceeding the approved scope.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8 12 years of experience.

• Strong experience with Snowflake RBAC.

• Data governance and access-control knowledge.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.

• Technical certifications across multiple technologies are desirable.

Education

• BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc in Engineering or a related field.
