Job Description

Pay Range: $27.00hr - $28.00hr

Job Overview:

The organization is seeking a Statistical Assistant to support data governance initiatives and perform statistical analysis. The successful candidate will assist with compiling and computing data according to statistical formulas for use in data analytic and statistical studies, support business analytics, and collaborate with key data stakeholders across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in compiling and computing data according to statistical formulas for use in data analytic and/or statistical studies.
  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in NYS.

Job Description and Required Services:

  • Compile and compute data according to statistical formulas for use in data analysis and/or statistical studies.
  • Prepare business analytics and assist in preparing data governance metrics and reporting.
  • Conduct research and analysis of data, its definitions and usage, system flows, and key challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of governance forums, as needed.
  • Develop documentation including reference guides, how-to guides, summaries, reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant materials.
  • Closely collaborate with data stakeholders across the organization to drive decision-making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
