Our client, a growing financial firm with offices in NYC and Edison is looking for a Data Engineer that focuses on integration to join the team.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Strong experience managing incident processes
- An understanding of established banking frameworks and adherence to existing operating models
- Ability to balance business demands while maintaining oversight of batch processing, ticketing, and SQL Server environments
- Strong SQL and Python development skills
- Databricks experience is a big plus
- Ability to collaborate with the business on a daily basis and translate technical and functional needs
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
- Knowledge of semantic modeling and data modeling
Financial Services Experience Required?
Yes
- Experience in fixed income, capital markets, and derivatives preferred
- Strong understanding of financial products (including equities) to reduce onboarding time and accelerate business alignment
