Title: Data Management Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Contract W2

PRIMARY SKILLS:
7+ years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or a combination of both
4+ years of

riting complex SQL code (in Microsoft SQL Server or Hive) with experience parsing XML, delimited, and fixed with data files
Proven analytical thinking, problem solving skills with attention to detail
Reporting and analytics experience to develop data pipelines, data transformation, and reporting for business analysts/executives
The Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Analytics provides strategic analytics, banker and customer communications analytics, and management reporting to the product, sales, and frontline risk teams within GPL.

This position will be responsible to perform analytics related to wires risk controls, liaise with platform support teams representing payment initiation channels, and develop control reporting for risk, control, and audit team usage. This position will also develop a deep understanding of the business processes, concepts, and data behind wires, to effectively perform business/data analysis.

Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of wires data, initiation channels, and financial crimes regulation
Liaison between the GPL Analysis and Frontline Risk
Perform analysis comparing wires messages with instructions received in initiation channels
Lead discussions with wires product SMEs and initiation channel application business owners related to findings and resolution
Adheres to data security and governance regulations, guidelines, and policies

Must Have Skills/Experience (Required Qualifications)
7+ years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or a combination of both
4+ years of writing complex SQL code (in Microsoft SQL Server or Hive) with experience parsing XML, delimited, and fixed with data files
Proven analytical thinking, problem solving skills with attention to detail
Reporting and analytics experience to develop data pipelines, data transformation, and reporting for business analysts/executives

Nice to Have Skills/Experience:
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of the GPL products and services and Wholesale Banking
• Inquisitive and a fast learner of the business concepts, processes, and details
• Proven experience in consulting and leading discussions with partners on planning and executing highly complex business problems
• Experience in developing and managing great working relationships with business and technology partners
• Strong organizational and change management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Experience working in a fast paced environment managing multiple simultaneous complex initiatives
