Summary:
The Global Payments & Liquidity Analytics (GPLA) Infrastructure team provides critical infrastructure support for GPLA, including strategic analytics, banker and customer communications analytics, and management reporting. In partnership with technology teams, the GPLA Infrastructure team ensures that all infrastructure, data acquisition, and value‑added data processing needs are met.
The Data Management Analyst will serve as a key liaison between the GPLA Infrastructure team, technology partners, and the Communications Analytics team. This role requires a strong understanding of Global Payments and Liquidity business processes, data, and systems in order to perform effective business and data analysis and to drive successful data infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the tools and databases owned and managed by the GPLA Infrastructure team
Act as the primary liaison between the infrastructure team, technology partners, and downstream business teams, including Communications Analytics
Manage data infrastructure initiatives end‑to‑end, including:
Creating business requirements documents
Reviewing functional and technical design documentation
Communicating strategy and direction to management and technology teams
Guiding and supporting technology implementation
Lead discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data consumers on enhancement requests, issue investigation, and defect resolution
Perform moderate to complex business and data analysis to support analytical and reporting needs
Manage the full data acquisition lifecycle, partnering with GPLA stakeholders, authorized data sources, and systems of record
Ensure adherence to data security, governance, and regulatory guidelines and policies
Key Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Experience in business systems analysis, business systems design, or a combination of both
Experience writing moderate to complex SQL across platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Hive, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience reviewing SQL code to support defect resolution and data quality improvements
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of Global Payments and Liquidity products, services, and Wholesale Banking (preferred)
Inquisitive mindset with the ability to quickly learn complex business concepts and processes
Proven experience consulting with partners and leading discussions on highly complex business problems
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both business and technology partners
Strong organizational, planning, and change management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Experience working in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple, simultaneous complex initiatives
