Data Management And Enterprise Analytics Director

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative, and dynamic Data Management and Enterprise Analytics Director to lead the ongoing development and support of enterprise solutions for data warehousing, enterprise analytics, integrations across enterprise transaction systems, and data collection and migration strategies generally.

This position is responsible for managing a team for the assessment of business requirements, collection and identification of technical specifications, and the subsequent configuration and/or development of technology solutions to enable efficient role-based access to a robust self-service analytics environment.

The Data Management and Enterprise Analytics Director will also be responsible for developing technology specifications and ensuring that solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness, leveraging enterprise technology toolset wherever possible. Applying architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability.

Responsibilities include establishing the foundation for a team that will be the enterprise resource for coordinating data utilization across the firm, aligning data dependencies across systems of record, making that data available to internal and external systems, enabling world-class security standards, and exposing enterprise data resources in a way that facilitates robust role-based analytics.

Additional responsibilities include developing and managing a Data Management and Enterprise Analytics team, leading requirements gathering for ETL, integration, and enterprise analytics needs, serving as a key liaison with other Information Technology Services Teams and the business, managing direct reports to prioritize and catalogue Data Management and Enterprise Analytics workload, formalizing support process for the Data Management and Enterprise Analytics team, establishing processes for management of Data Management and Enterprise Analytics systems design and requirements throughout their lifecycle, serving as technical Subject Matter Expert to analyze and resolve Data Management and Enterprise Analytics technical issues, applying proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist user groups on issues of business intelligence sourcing, reporting, and documentation, coordinating closely with business stakeholders to enable self-service and ensure consistency of data definitions and key business metrics, and assuring compliance standard policies and data security procedures.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist, Architect, or Manager, 5+ years' experience with data migration practices and integration tools, expertise in enterprise analytics and data warehousing best practices, concepts, and SDLC (Agile a plus), experience with project management fundamentals a plus, strong analytical and communication skills, including an ability to build consensus and discuss complex technical issues with opinionated engineers, prior experience in data management or BI technical roles, demonstrated knowledge of cloud solutions, data modeling, database concepts, and data management, ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem, ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, experience working within both a team environment and independently, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
