The Client External Supply Digital Strategy and Data Management team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to support business-critical initiatives across digital, data, analytics, reporting, and process improvement. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT partners, project teams, and cross-functional teams to drive successful delivery of strategic digital initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business analysis, project management, IT SDLC, data analytics, and visualization development experience, with the ability to work across business and technical teams. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, raw material management, external supply, supply chain, or related GxP environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities for digital, data, analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, prioritize, and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide project management support, including scope definition, project planning, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, dependency coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support initiatives through the IT SDLC, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, deployment, change management, and post-implementation support.
  • Query, transform, validate, and analyze data using SQL and Python to support reporting, data validation, and business insights.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Support data management activities, including data mapping, data quality checks, master data alignment, business rules, and documentation of data definitions.
  • Collaborate with business users, IT partners, data engineers, analytics teams, project teams, and external partners.
  • Support initiatives related to raw material management, external supply performance, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, supplier performance, portfolio execution, and supply risk management.
  • Prepare documentation, presentations, project updates, decision materials, and status communications for business and leadership audiences.
  • Lead or support UAT planning and execution, defect tracking, change impact assessment, stakeholder readiness, and user adoption activities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Digital Product Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
  • Project management experience, including planning, tracking milestones, managing risks and issues, coordinating dependencies, and communicating status.
  • Working knowledge of IT SDLC methodologies, including Agile and/or Waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with data querying and transformation using SQL and Python, as well as dashboard development in Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiar with Microsoft suite, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, regulated manufacturing, external supply, contract manufacturing, raw material management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GxP, data integrity, ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, procurement, planning, supplier management systems, data governance, or master data management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, influence without authority, and work effectively in a remote, cross-functional, and matrixed environment.
Basic Qualification:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience OR Master degree and 4 years of experience OR Bachelor degree and 6 years of experience OR Associate degree and 10 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years o experience
