Manager, Data Operations and Governance
The Patient Services Platform Enablement and Operations team is seeking an organized, collaborative, and communicative leader to join our team as Manager, Data Operations and Governance. In this strategic role, you will champion company s Data Governance strategy with a focus on Patient Services Platforms, ensuring data stewardship, quality, and compliance across our patient engagement and support solutions. You will work cross-functionally with both business and technical teams to safeguard and optimize the use of our data assets that drive patient-centric operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison for Data Governance initiatives within Patient Services Platforms, managing governance processes specific to patient data and service platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders from Patient Services, Technology Services, and other business units to support and enhance data stewardship, metadata management, and data quality efforts in patient-facing platforms.
Drive the development and maintenance of data governance policies, standards, and documentation tailored to the regulatory, privacy, and operational needs of patient data and related digital platforms.
Lead operational governance tasks such as Critical Data Element (CDE) reviews, data catalog/business glossary management, and patient data quality assessments.
Provide ongoing education, support, and communication to ensure engaged participation in data governance processes and compliance with standards for patient data.
Track and analyze key governance metrics to ensure data quality, compliance, and adoption of governance practices within Patient Services Platforms.
Partner with platform vendors, IT teams, and business leads to continuously refine data workflows and deliver trusted patient data products aligned to evolving business needs.
Support preparation of metrics, presentations, and program updates relevant for data working groups and Patient Services Platforms leadership.
Contribute to continuous improvement, enabling platform-level governance tool adoption and process automation.
Perform ad hoc data analysis and project management tasks in support of Patient Services data governance objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related area.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Metadata Management, or Data Quality, with direct exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated patient data preferred.
Experience implementing data governance for patient systems (CRM, case management, patient support platforms) is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success managing data quality, metadata, and stewardship initiatives for large or sensitive datasets.
Strong knowledge of tools/platforms for data processing and governance (e.g., Excel, SQL, Alation, Collibra, Informatica, Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels and explain governance value in a patient services context.
Highly organized with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with data privacy, HIPAA, or other patient data regulatory frameworks is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and patient-focused environment.
