Data Migration Lead

• Experience: 12+ years, with significant Data Warehousing + Tech Lead experience.

• Core Ownership: Lead end-to-end data migration projects across DW and Reporting platforms.

• SDLC: Own requirements, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery.

• SQL: Strong hands-on complex SQL, optimization, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.

• Data Warehousing: Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, ETL/ELT.

• Migration: Experience with data mapping, migration strategy, validation, data quality, and reconciliation.

• POCs: Build POCs for report analysis and log analysis.

• Leadership: Mentor teams, make independent decisions, identify risks, and drive resolution.

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with business, BI, engineering, and technical teams.

• Documentation: Migration plans, mapping sheets, test cases, runbooks, etc.

• Good to Have: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Tableau.

• Education: BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc; technical certifications desirable.

• Location: Remote.

Ideal profile: A senior DW/Data Migration Tech Lead who can independently own migration projects, has strong SQL/ETL expertise, and can bridge technical and business teams.
