To acquire the advantage, Zolon PCS is seeking a Data Migration Specialist. This program will replace multiple decentralized and legacy quality management environments with a single, enterprise-wide platform that supports quality, compliance, training, audits, risk management, equipment management, supplier management, and corrective action processes across FDA Centers and Offices. The solution will support FDA organizations, including the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Office of Pharmaceutical Quality (OPQ), Human Food Program (HFP), Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS), Office of Inspections and Investigations (OII), and other FDA quality organizations.
Job Description:
Execute data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), verification, reconciliation, and exception-handling activities supporting migration of legacy data into ComplianceQuest and Salesforce GovCloud environments.
Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, cleansing coordination, migration testing, and migration-wave execution while maintaining migration logs and audit-ready documentation.
Develop and maintain data mapping specifications, transformation rules, reconciliation reports, and migration artifacts to ensure accurate and complete data conversion.
Support migration validation activities, traceability verification, defect resolution, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure migrated data meets business and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, system owners, quality teams, developers, and architects to resolve data issues and validate migration outcomes.
Troubleshoot migration-related issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to support successful deployment and operational readiness.
Ensure migration activities comply with FDA regulations, GxP requirements, 21 CFR Part 11, Computer System Validation (CSV), and organizational quality standards.
Provide subject matter expertise for proposal development, technical solutioning, customer demonstrations, oral presentations, technical exchanges, and capability briefings.
Contribute lessons learned, best practices, reusable migration assets, and organizational knowledge artifacts to support continuous improvement and business growth.
Support development of innovative solutions based on experience gained through the FDA Cloud QMS Program and collaborate with corporate leadership to expand ComplianceQuest, Salesforce GovCloud, Data Migration, and Quality Management service offerings.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience performing enterprise data migration, data conversion, and data reconciliation activities.
Prior FDA experience desired.
Experience performing data extraction, transformation, and loading activities into Salesforce Cloud
Experience with ETL and data integration tools (Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Boomi, SSIS, Data Loader, etc.).
Experience migrating documents, metadata, and quality records.
Experience performing migration testing and reconciliation activities.
Experience supporting migration validation activities preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting Agile project delivery and cross-functional teams
Excellent written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills.
Bachelor's degree desired.
Clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust tier 2
