Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Data Modeler for our client in the Oil and Gas domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $70.00-$80.00/Hourly

Role: Data Modeler

Primary Skills: Data Modeling and Data Architecture

Role Description: The Data Modeler must have 2-5+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data models aligned with enterprise data strategies
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement data structures in Oracle and SQL Server environments
• Lead data modeling efforts, including normalization and dimensional modeling
• Support data governance, data lineage, and data quality initiatives
• Reverse engineer existing databases to update and improve data models
• Document data architecture, schemas, and relationships effectively

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and data architecture
• Proficiency with Erwin Data Modeler (version 9.x or higher)
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in Oracle (11g/12c/19c/21c) and SQL Server
• Knowledge of normalization, dimensional modeling, and data integrity
• Ability to create and modify database objects using DDL
• Experience with reverse engineering databases

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or any IT related field.

Experience: Minimum 2-5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
