Data Owners and Stewards Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Must Have - Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF)(Proficient), Azure Databricks(Proficient)
Define data elements and establish policies and procedures for data collection.
Coordinate with different departments to identify and understand their data requirements.
Maintain and ensure the quality, integrity, and compliance of data across the organization.
Oversee data migration, transformation, and validation processes.
Implement data standards, rules, and quality requirements.
Provide support for data warehousing, mining, and distribution.
Resolve data issues and discrepancies and ensure data consistency.
Develop and maintain data catalogs, dictionaries, and taxonomies.
Conduct regular data audits to verify data accuracy and integrity.
Advise and train staff on data management and quality principles.
Implement data privacy policies and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR.

Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience in data management and governance.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency in data management tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in cloud platforms (Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Experience with data migration to cloud environments.
Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
