Akkodis is seeking a Data Pipeline Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing scalable enterprise data ingestion and processing pipelines.
Rate Range: $64/Hour to $68/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Pipeline Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Airflow, Snowflake, and SQL.
Implement enterprise data ingestion for structured, unstructured, and real‑time data sources.
Prepare and stage data for AI/ML and LLM use cases, including vector and knowledge graph databases.
Ensure data quality, validation, and reliability across all pipeline stages.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enforce security, compliance, and deployment best practices.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in data engineering or data pipeline development.
Strong hands‑on experience building data pipelines using Python, Airflow, Snowflake, and SQL.
Proven expertise in enterprise data ingestion, data quality/validation, and preparing data for AI/LLM and analytics use cases.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $68.00 per hour
