Akkodis is seeking a Data Platform Program Manager for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex data platform programs, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise data, ETL/ELT, and cloud platform initiatives that support business objectives.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Platform Program Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage enterprise-wide data platform programs, ensuring successful delivery of cloud, data engineering, ETL/ELT, and analytics initiatives aligned with business goals.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and engineering organizations to drive execution, manage dependencies, and achieve measurable business outcomes.

• Define program roadmaps, success metrics, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, quality, and operational effectiveness.

• Oversee data lifecycle initiatives, including data integration, data quality, governance, lineage, traceability, and platform modernization efforts.

• Facilitate Agile program execution using tools such as Jira and Confluence, ensuring effective planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement.

• Partner with engineering leaders, architects, and business executives to drive strategic decisions, leverage AI/ML capabilities, and deliver scalable, data-driven platform solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.

• 10-15+ years of program management experience leading large-scale data platform, cloud, analytics, or enterprise technology initiatives.

• Deep expertise in end-to-end data lifecycle management, data platforms, ETL/ELT ecosystems, data governance, data quality, lineage, and large-scale Agile program execution.

• Proven experience driving cross-functional data and platform programs, defining success metrics, managing executive stakeholders, and leveraging AI/ML concepts, Jira, and Confluence to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
