Description:

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years is seeking a detail-oriented Data Processing Clerk II to support production reporting and operational data management within the Coating Department. This role is ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in manufacturing or production environments.

 

Type: Contract
Job Title: Data Processing Clerk II
Location: Fairport, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Fairport, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

 

DOD/ITAR Compliant Required - This is an ITAR facility. DOD compliance requires US Citizens for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, organize, and maintain production, quality, downtime, and operational data
• Accurately enter and validate data in spreadsheets, databases, and tracking systems
• Generate routine reports and support departmental performance tracking
• Review records for completeness and resolve data discrepancies
• Collaborate with production staff and department leadership to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain organized documentation and confidentiality of company information
• Support special projects and additional reporting tasks as needed

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 1-3+ years of experience in data entry, reporting, administrative support, or manufacturing documentation
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications required
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with production reporting, ERP/MES systems, or manufacturing data preferred

 

Work Environment:
• Onsite position in Fairport, NY
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Frequent interaction with production floor personnel
• Ability to sit for extended periods and walk between office and production areas as needed
