Under supervision of Patient Financial Services Manager, performs a variety of data processing duties including but not limited to:
• Meeting with patients or responsible person for financial assessment and performing a Standard Means Test to determine Department of Mental Health funding eligibility; • Collecting monthly ability to pay co-payments; • Keying patient demographics into Expanse and state system (CIMOR).
Keying daily charges for BHC offices located in West Plains, Thayer, Gainesville, Houston, and Mt. Grove including:
• Individual, family and group therapy and school based services for LPC and LCSW licensed therapists; • Medication services charges for APNs and physicians; • Department of Mental Health charges for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, residential, ITCD and community support specialists.
Reviewing and working the daily billing rejection reports; Missouri Medicaid verification.
High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of mental health CPT codes, Rev Sites, and Locations required.
