Role Summary
The Data Product Owner plays a critical role in bridging business stakeholders and data engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of data initiatives. This position is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and translating business needs into actionable work that drives value.

In this role, you will gather requirements, manage the product backlog, and work closely with data architects and engineering teams to guide execution. You will ensure clarity of requirements, facilitate Agile processes, and maintain alignment across stakeholders while supporting the successful delivery of data driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate data requirements
• Translate business needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories for engineering teams
• Own and prioritize the product backlog to align with business goals and project timelines
• Collaborate with data architects to ensure requirements are clear and actionable
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and standups
• Ensure requirements are complete and accepted prior to development start
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and data engineering teams
• Support ongoing project planning and execution across global and offshore teams

Key Requirements
• 7 plus years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting data initiatives
• Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in data or technology environments
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables for data engineering teams
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing complex business requirements
• Experience collaborating with offshore teams in a global delivery model
• Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake and understanding of data models
• Exposure to tools or domains such as Salesforce, procurement processes, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
