A large financial services organization is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support a growing cyber data and analytics environment. This role is focused on validating data quality, testing ETL workflows, and ensuring the reliability of data pipelines and dashboards used by internal stakeholders.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong QA fundamentals with hands-on SQL and data validation expertise. The role will partner closely with technical teams to test data as it moves through multiple layers of a modern enterprise data platform, identify defects, and help improve overall testing rigor.
What You ll Tackle
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business and technical requirements
  • Validate data across ETL processes and multiple layers of a modern data architecture
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Analyze source and target data sets to identify inconsistencies, outliers, and transformation issues
  • Document, report, and track defects while partnering with developers on resolution
  • Support QA efforts tied to enterprise dashboards and reporting outputs
  • Maintain testing documentation, traceability, and regression coverage
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or data-focused systems analysis
  • Strong SQL skills including joins, CTEs, reconciliations, and data validation techniques
  • Experience testing ETL pipelines, warehouse loads, or data integration workflows
  • Ability to scrub, analyze, and validate large data sets
  • Experience creating and executing structured test plans and regression scenarios
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar test / defect management tools
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting data quality initiatives
  • Familiarity with medallion architecture or layered data platforms
  • Exposure to dashboard or reporting validation
  • Confluence experience
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience
