What you’ll be doing...

As a key contributor on the Executive Insights team under Performance Assurance, you will drive business transformation by utilizing interaction analytics, AI, and large datasets to optimize the customer experience across the Verizon Consumer Group (VCG). You’ll provide business intelligence that helps our team evaluate complex issues and make informed decisions. By remaining deeply connected to our data ecosystem, you will proactively uncover and share actionable insights that propel our business forward

• Collaborating with others to identify analytic requirements and devise the best possible solution.

• Analyzing complex operational, economic and accounting data to quantify the competitive business segments and evaluate potential operational changes.

• Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing conclusions.

• Developing innovative strategies.

• Developing models to predict future outcomes.

• Consulting with partners and senior leaders on insights, trends, and data-based solutions.

In this role, your foundational focus will include:

• Leading as the principal subject matter expert for analytics, combining advanced reporting capabilities with comprehensive knowledge of Mobile and Fios operational processes 

• Running analyses at large scales and utilizing AI tools to evaluate vital business results, KPIs, and growth initiatives to drive tangible, measurable value

• Utilizing interaction analytics to pinpoint system, process, and policy areas leading to customer friction, and making data-backed recommendations to optimize the customer lifecycle

• Presenting directly to all levels of executive leadership and Operations teams, translating complex data and ongoing business trends into clear, actionable insights for senior-level decision-makers

• Collaborating seamlessly with business units across the enterprise, aligning analysis and insights with business needs

• Developing a full understanding of KPI performance for Mobile and Home services, and applying those insights to journey analytics to make data-driven recommendations for tool, process, and execution impacts

In this role, you'll have a defined work location and assigned office days by your leader.

Ultimately, your ability to collaborate seamlessly cross-functionally and influence all levels of leadership will be critical to driving meaningful impact in this role

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Experience in large-scale data, interaction, or journey-based analytics to provide business insights and strategic recommendations.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Comprehensive understanding of KPIs and experience developing robust forecasting models.

• Experience analyzing big data from multiple sources to identify trends and performance drivers.

• Experience in leveraging AI tools—including prompt engineering—to model, size, and predict the impact of business initiatives.

• Experience building custom Looker dashboards to effectively translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $98,500.00 - $188,000.00.

The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $108,000.00 - $188,000.00.
